Motion to authorize the advertisement and make available for public inspection the 2024 Budget, dated November 8, 2023, with projected revenues of $66,505,018 and projected expenses at $66,505,018

b.

Motion to authorize the advertisement of an Ordinance to fix the Borough tax rate for real property for the Year 2024 with total millage not to exceed 14.650 mills

c.

Motion to adopt the proposed order which conditionally grants the conditional use request of Karina Zarco, d/b/a Philadelphia Granite, to allow for the property located at 587 West High Street (Unit 1) to be operated as a marble and granite shop to include the cutting and manufacturing of countertops pursuant to Section 334.3 of the Pottstown Borough Zoning Ordinance

d.

Motion to authorize the Chief of Police to extend a conditional offer of employment to one (1) candidate from the Civil Service List dated February 2, 2023

e.

Possible action related to Zoning Hearing Board Application No. 23-2023, the application of Nicholas Pollick, which concerns the property located at 936 Chestnut Street, and appeals the Zoning Officer’s permit denial letter dated October 4, 2023 and, alternatively, seeks a variance from Section 510 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow for a driveway in the property’s side yard

Motion to award the Pottstown Wastewater and Water Plant Chemicals as per the bid tabulation of October 25, 2023, subject to review and approval of the Solicitor and as follows:

Motion to award the Riverfront Park Bridge Abutment Protection Contract to Flyway Excavating, Inc., Mount Joy, PA, in the amount of $645,881, including the Base Bid ($358,681), Alternate 1 – Bridge Repair ($255,900) and Alternate 2 – Gravel Bar Removal ($31,300) and as per the bid tabulation of November 6, 2023, subject to review and approval of the Solicitor

Motion to adopt a Resolution authorizing the submission of the Local Shares Account Grant for Memorial Park, with no match
