Motion to grant the Conditional Use request of Evans Woods Investor Group to improve existing light manufacturing building at property located at 816 – 842 Queen Street

d.

Possible action on the zoning relief request of Anne Anderson to operate a holistic day spa at the property located at 343 East High Street

Motion to grant preliminary/final approval of the Hill School Turf Field Minor Land Development, 860 Beech Street, subject to the Applicant satisfying the following conditions within 90 days:

i.

Compliance with the comments set forth in the Cedarville Engineering review letter dated March 11, 2022

ii.

Compliance of the comments set forth in the Montgomery County Planning Commission review letter dated March 7, 2022

iii.

Compliance with the comments set forth in the HRG letter dated March 14, 2022

iv.

A payment of a fee in lieu of open space in the amount of $9,450.00 prior to the issue of building permits

v.

A payment of a fee in lieu of shade trees in the amount of $11,000.00 (calculated at 22 trees required at $500.00 per tree) prior to the issuance of building permits

vi.

The preparation and execution of a Development Agreement in a form acceptable to the Borough Solicitor

vii.

The payment to the Borough of a voluntary, undesignated contribution in the amount of $15,000.00 prior to the issuance of building permits

viii.

The installation and planting of required street trees on the Jackson Street frontage

ix.

The payment in full of all Borough review fees

f.

Motion to grant the following waivers from the Borough’s Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (SALDO) and the Borough Stormwater Management Ordinance (SWMO), which waivers are contained in the Pennoni letter dated March 18, 2022:

i.

Waivers No. 1 through No. 15, No. 17, No. 19, No. 21 and No. 22. A partial waiver of No. 20 (Section 505 of SALDO) to waive street tree installation with the exception of the Jackson Street frontage

g.

Motion to adopt an Ordinance amending regulations of Chapter 18, Sewers and Sewage Disposal Ordinance

h.

Motion to adopt a Resolution authorizing the submission of a grant application to the Montgomery County Recovery: Pandemic Recovery Funds Program for the Riverfront Park Pedestrian Bridge and Embankment Restoration Project, in the amount of $250,000

i.

Motion to adopt a Resolution authorizing the submission of a grant application to the Montgomery County Recovery: Pandemic Recovery Funds Program for the Stormwater Arch Rehabilitation Project, in the amount of $8,000,000

j.

Motion to permit PAED to install lights within the Borough right-of-way for its Light-Up High Street Campaign, subject to securing a Release, Waiver and Indemnification Agreement in a form acceptable to the Borough.

k.

Motion to authorize Staff to proceed with the Request for Proposals for the Fixed Base Operator at the Pottstown Municipal Airport

l.

Motion to grant the request of the Schuylkill River Greenways to allow the operation of a Biergarten at the 2022 Paddling Film Festival in Riverfront Park, May 21, 2022, (rain date May 22, 2022), 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., subject to review and approval of the Police and Fire Departments and compliance with the Liquor Control Board regulations

m.

Motion to grant the request of The Hill School to close Beech Street from Sheridan Street to Edgewood Street to hold its commencement exercise on May 28, 2022, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., subject to approval of the Police and Fire Departments

n.

Motion to grant the request of the Pottstown Rumble to allow the operation of a Biergarten in Memorial Park to be held June 24, 25, 26, 2022 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 a.m., subject to review and approval of the Police and Fire Departments and compliance with the Liquor Control Board regulations

o.

Motion to grant the request of the GoFourth Committee to hold its Street Festival on July 4, 2022, resulting in the closure of High Street from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., subject to review of the Police and Fire Departments

p.

Motion to grant the request of the GoFourth Committee to allow the operation of Biergartens on July 4, 2022 in Smith Family Plaza, from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and on July 4, 2022 in Memorial Park, from 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m., subject to review and approval of the Police and Fire Departments and compliance with the Liquor Control Board regulations

q.

Motion to grant the request of the Parks and Recreation Department to hold its Play Streets – Community Outreach Program, on June 16, 23, & 30, July 14, 21, 28 and August 11, 2022, and to close various streets in Park areas, from 5:30 p.m. -7:30 p.m., subject to review and approval of the Police and Fire Departments

r.

Motion to grant the request of the Reading Gravity Race Club to reschedule its March 13, 2022 event to July 24, 2022, due to inclement weather, and resulting in the closure of Wilson and State Streets from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., subject to review of the Police and Fire Departments

s.

Motion to award the bids for Police vehicles and various equipment as per the bid tabulation of March 29, 2022, resulting in a net total of $13,421, subject to review and approval of the Solicitor

t.

Motion to award the Street Overlay Paving bid as per the bid tabulation of April 11, 2022, subject to review and approval of the Solicitor

u.
