PUBLIC COMMENT POLICY
Each individual is allotted a maximum of five minutes for public comments, and eligibility to make such comments is restricted to residents and taxpayers of the Borough of Pottstown. In order to verify eligibility requirements, the Borough reserves the right to request additional information regarding resident/taxpayer status at any time both before and after comments are made. If it is determined that an individual does not satisfy eligibility requirements, that individual will be precluded from providing public comments at future meetings.
Those participating virtually wishing to speak during public comment, whether participating by electronic device or telephone, must submit their name and full residential or business address through GoToMeeting chat or email at email@example.com. Requests to speak virtually will be accepted until 7:05pm, at which time chat will be closed, and no further requests for comment will be honored.
Those attending in person wishing to speak must provide their name and full residential or business address at the sign-in sheet located at the front of the meeting room prior to the start of the public comment agenda item.
