Borough of Pottstown Fire Department

The Pottstown Fire Department is responsible for all hazard type responses, fire prevention education, fire code enforcement and fire investigations.

Message from the Fire Chief:

I am honored to serve as the Pottstown Fire Chief. It is a pleasure for me to take this position and be an asset to the department in this capacity. I could not pass up the opportunity to lead a department in a community I truly admire and am excited to be working in.  It is a privilege to work with the residents of Pottstown and to contribute to their overall safety.  I am passionate about community outreach and establishing a proactive department rather than a reactive department. I also feel that it is important to educate the community about fire safety and prevention.

As we move forward as a fire department and a Borough, I look forward to the great things we shall accomplish together, and the accomplishments that have already been achieved. The Pottstown Fire Department will continue its tradition to provide the best fire suppression services to the Borough.

Fire Department Mission Statement:

It is the mission of the Pottstown Fire Department to provide a fire safe environment for the community; to further respond to and mitigate both man-made and natural emergencies and disasters in the Borough of Pottstown; to provide public education on fire prevention and safety; to integrate with other public safety agencies to ensure that highest quality of life is provided for the Pottstown community.
