Pottstown
Borough Authority
The Pottstown Borough Authority owns the Water Treatment
Plant and approximately 115 miles of underground pipes
necessary to provide clean and safe water to area residential,
commercial, and industrial customers. During the past
several years, the Authority has made significant improvements
in the water system to ensure quality service. The Authority
is a public body, composed of five members that are
appointed by the Borough Council. Meetings are open
to the public and held on the third Tuesday of each
month.
The Pottstown Borough Authority also
owns the Wastewater Treatment Plant and about 70 miles of underground pipes necessary
to transport sewage to the plant from area residential, commercial, and industrial
customers. During the past several years, the Authority has made major improvements
to the wastewater system to ensure that the system and plant are working to protect
the environment. The Authority is a public body, composed of five members that
are appointed by the Borough Council. Meetings are open to the public and held
on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m.
