GREATER POTTSTOWN TENNIS ASSOCIATION |
Springing from the vision of Mr. Jim Corum, the GPTA has taken shape in
the past several years. Starting from the mid-summer Pottstown Classic (a long-time
Parks & Recreation production) as our centerpiece event, we
have sought to expand instruction, promote competitive opportunities, and build
fellowship within the tennis community here. With the clinics we run in Pottstown
and various surrounding communities, the expansion of league and team tennis
and our growing relationship with the Middle States Section of the USTA , we
will keep giving local tennis players more opportunities to enjoy this great
game.
The inclusion of capable and enthusiastic tennis players from this community
on the Board of Directors keeps us in touch with the community. As we continue
to grow and improve our offerings, we can benefit from the comments of tennis
players like you. Please contact Mr. Corum or the board members if you have suggestions
for our programming. We are proud of our growth, but expect to keep growing and
adapting to meet the desires of the Pottstown area tennis community. |
