| Enjoy a fun filled evening with friends, classmates & parents. These
special parties are held twice per school year. Advance tickets are available
at your school office or at the Pottstown Parks and Recreation Department office
on Beech and Penn Streets. Children may only attend the party for their
age group. Remember admission for parents is free! Please arrange
to have your child picked up promptly by 8:15p.m. |

The Easter Egg Roll is a Pottstown Holiday tradition sponsored
by the Pottstown Kiwanis Club. Youth should bring their own decorated
hard-boiled egg to race at the Easter Egg Roll. Children will also play
holiday and parachute games. It’s sure to be a blast! Each
child receives a treat bag from the Kiwanis. |

Come and join the Pottstown Optimist with their annual Easter Egg Hunt. The
fields will be roped off for the children to hunt for colorful eggs. Each
egg will have a prize. Candy and door prizes will be awarded to all who
attend. In case of inclement weather the event will be held at Lincoln
Elementary School multi-purpose room.

Come bring the entire family out to enjoy this unique event focusing
on family enrichment. Familyfest was developed to enhance, celebrate, and explore
family dynamics, development, growth, and unity. Pottstown area service
providers will be on hand to answer your questions and distribute information. Information
booths, roving entertainment, and door prizes will be highlights of the event. Our
featured entertainment will include the Pottstown Senior High School Jazz Band.

Familyfest is an event that places priority on prompting family unity.
A
major component at this year’s Familyfest will involve introducing and
sharing the Developmental Asset Movement with the community. We are looking
for individuals, businesses, and area service providers to help sponsor the 2008
Familyfest.
You can help support the program by donating door prizes or
by advertising in the Familyfest brochure. Last year over 500 brochures
were distributed at the event.
