Pottstown Parks and Recreation in conjunction with the
Pottstown Optimist will host this local competition.
In one minute
time period, players must shoot baskets from 5 “hot spots’ marked
on one half of the basketball court. The competition tests youngster’s
speed, dribbling, rebounding, and shooting skills.
Varsity
basketball players are not eligible. Registration will be held from
5:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. Awards will be given to the top three participants
in each different age category (top 3 male/top 3 female).
